Celebrity kids are often subject to experiencing the limelight and that does not go any differently for Alexis Ohanian and Serena Williams’ daughter, Olympia Ohanian.
Serena and her husband Alexis welcomed their daughter Olympia into this world on September 1, 2017, and since then the 5-year-old has had her parents revolving around her.
Consistent with the fact that her parents are both successful and acclaimed personalities in their respective fields, it is only natural for fans to be eager in finding out Olympia’s career pick and her father Alexis has already declared his intentions for her.
In an exclusive questionnaire with Alexis Ohanian on Good Morning America, he is posed with a variety of questions, with one of them targeting his advice for his daughter Olympia asking “What advice do you want to give to your daughter?”
Jumping straight into it, Alexis responded by saying he would want Olympia to get a taste for his profession saying “Obviously I recommend that she learn to code and you know daddy will be there helping her as soon as she’s ready to start digging in.”
“I want to make sure that she finds her passion. She’s going to have a lot of advantages that her mother (Serena) and I didn’t have. She’s got some really supportive and loving parents who just want her to be.
Serena’s prerogative posting of her daughter with a tennis racket suggests that the 41-year-old might potentially want her to be introduced to her sport and carry on her legacy rather than dive into learning more about her husband Alexis’ profession, coding.
At the end of the day, as confessed by Alexis, the ball would be in Olympia’s court, and might not opt for either of her parents’ professions and instead find her passion in something else entirely.
