It’s just a few hours before Taylor Swift takes to the imposing stage at the Santiago Bernabeu with a whole host of famous guests in attendance, none more so than Barack Obama as the ex-President heads to Spain to watch her star.

The stands and the pitch will be packed by more than 65000 fans who arrive in Madrid with the intention of enjoying the Eras Tour live, but it’s not only the Swifties that will pack the stands of the white temple.

Dozens of celebrities who will attend the event continues to grow as the days go by, although many of them are expected to come at the last minute such as Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds and Barack Obama are the names that have been mentioned.

Reynolds and Lively are great friends of the Pennsylvania singer. Reynolds admits that his daughters love his movies, but would trade them without thinking for a Swift concert.

“I’m going to the show in Madrid,” Reynolds posted on social media. “I’m excited, my wife and kids have been to five or six.

“It will be the first one I go to because this last year and a half I have been with a tight work schedule.”

Celebrities at Taylor Swift’s concert: Will Obama be there?
Obama has been married to his wife, Michelle, since 1992 and the pair have two daughters together. Malia Ann was born in 1998 and Natasha was born in 2001 in Chicago, meaning they both likely enjoy Swift’s music and would want to go to a gig.

Barack Obama is not confirmed with complete certainty, but El Mundo assured that the former President of the United States would travel to the Spanish capital to enjoy one of Taylor Swift’s two concerts.

The Minister of Transport of the Government of Spain, Oscar Puente, is also a staunch follower of the Queen of Pop and TIME Person of the Year. A self-declared “total Swiftie”, he revealed that he already has tickets for the show, which he hopes will be the best:

“I have an illusion that is to meet her,” Puente said in an interview for El Intermedio. “She is my favorite singer at the moment.”
