Travis Kelce and his brother, Jason, are calling out the media on their latest episode of New Heights, after both were subjected to a variety of outlandish stories in recent weeks.

The two made several countering statements about recent headlines on Wednesday’s podcast after pointing out that “a lot of false media” was “being tossed out there” following Travis’ trip to see girlfriend Taylor Swift perform in Sydney, Australia, going on to knock on unfactual news stories left and right.

For example, TMZ recently reported that Travis enjoyed a night out with 49ers player Christian McCaffrey and his fiancée Olivia Culpo after they were all spotted at Nobu, unbeknownst to the tight end at the time; Travis didn’t see either one of them during his visit to the restaurant.

“Yeah, you guys had dinner together,” Jason joked, prompting Travis to deadpan, “No, we didn’t.”

He added, “If I would’ve known that him and Olivia were there, I would’ve sent over a drink, or at least come over and say, ‘Congrats on an unbelievable season,'” adding that he’s “got so much respect for that guy…”

Jason called the reporting “remarkable,” though not in a good way, as he lamented the “rush to get things out there.” He, of course, understands the plight, as recent reports suggested that wife Kylie Kelce was pregnant with their fourth child.

“It’s a boy,” Jason said, leading Travis to playfully gasp, “What? No way!”

“In this made-up universe,” he conceded. “Thank you.”

During his viral time in Las Vegas, someone also—very convincingly—photoshopped Jason’s head onto a still of Zach Galifianakis from The Hangover. “It’s crazy!” he said, then noting a three-year-old video of his eldest daughter, Wyatt, that went viral and was completely misconstrued. “People will say anything,” he said. “Anything that gets them likes or clicks, and people don’t vet anything.”

Travis agreed that it was “ridiculous,” and encouraged listeners not to believe everything they see. It’s safest to get your information straight from the horse’s—er, Kelces’—mouth.
