Rice had a fantastic season at SMU, recording 96 receptions for 1,344 yards and 10 touchdowns on 156 targets, according to Pro Football Focus. Over four seasons at SMU, Rice had 233 receptions for 3,111 yards and 25 touchdowns.
Now, Rice will have the opportunity to catch passes from Mahomes on the professional stage. He joins a wide receiver room that already has Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Skyy Moore, Kadarius Toney, and Richie James. Chiefs fans can’t wait to see Rice and Mahomes in action together on the field in the upcoming season.
