It doesn’t matter how old she gets — Kate Middleton is never too grown up to show her parents some love. The 40-year-old was filmed blowing her parents a kiss as they attended Wimbledon. It was the second trip to the tennis showdown for Kate’s parents recently, and it seems like she was loving having them close by.
Kate and William were spotted as they made their way to the royal box at the famed tennis tournament. The duchess looked chipper as she sat down and surveyed the crowd around them, possibly searching out parents Carole and Michael Middleton, who she knew would be there.
Kate spotted her parents and blew them a kiss before waving at them.It was clear that even though Kate’s parents were still seated in the royal box, they were too far away for Kate to give them a proper greeting. So instead, she sent her love another way.
It was a very candid and relatable moment between Kate and her parents, and it’s precisely those kinds of interactions that make the royal a fan favorite around the world. We weren’t the only ones who found the moment touching.People were quick to note how Kate’s behavior was a reflection of how well her parents raised her. On Instagram, they took to the comments to commend the Middleton family.”Yes it is so nice to see again and again how the Middleton family [lives],” one person wrote before calling Kate “magical” and celebrating her parents.
Another person pointed out how well Prince William gets along with the Middletons. “They are the sweetest family in the world,” the person wrote. “A true and happy family.”Kate and the rest of the Middletons are frequent flyers at Wimbledon.According to People magazine, the entire Middleton clan makes it out to the tournament almost every year. Carole and Michael have already gone twice this year — they were spotted at matches just last week — and Kate’s brother James was seen there Monday with his new wife, Alizée, by his side.It appears Kate is passing her love of tennis down to her kids as well.
Back at the start of the pandemic-
related quarantine, a source close to the royals told The Sun that Kate spent almost every afternoon playing tennis with Prince George and Princess Charlotte. We’re guessing Prince Louis was still a bit young for the game back then. Given the long-standing love the family seems to have for the game, we’ll bet that the younger royals will become Wimbledon regulars in no time.We also have a hunch they’ll be quick to a blow a kiss to their parents when they grow up too!
