Kayla Nicole reveals why Travis kelce is no longer her type of man “I wont lower my standard to date someone like him anymore”

She’s hanging her jersey in the rafters. Travis Kelce’s ex Kayla Nicole said she is done dating athletes and wants to date men who are “in positions of power” following her split from the NFL star.

When asked if she would date “another athlete,” the model briefly paused before saying that she would “never say never,” but she “fully wholeheartedly” believes she is “out of the athlete stage” in her life. “I would love to just date someone that — I do think I’m attracted to men in positions of power and I also think that those types of men are attracted to me,” she explained on the “Behind the Likes” podcast Wednesday.

Nicole, 31, shared that she would “love” to date an executive of a record label or a movie producer so that way they can have date nights at sporting events. “Like, let’s date night, be courtside — that’s my kind of guy,” she said. “I don’t really need to go to any more sporting events.” The on-air host was first linked with Kelce, 34, in 2017. In the summer of 2020, she and the Kansas City Chiefs player split but got back together just a few months later.

Nicole and Kelce eventually called it quits for good in 2022, but the NFL star didn’t stay single long. In September 2023, he went public with his new girlfriend, Taylor Swift, after she attended one of his football games, cheering from a private suite alongside her beau’s mom, Donna Kelce. While Travis’ new romance with the “Bad Blood” singer, 34, has made headlines everywhere, Nicole has posted several cryptic messages on social media.

She even unfollowed both Patrick and Brittany Mahomes as they began growing close to Swift. Although she removed her former WAG bestie, 28, and the quarterback, also 28, from her social media accounts, she told People back in October that she needed to move on from that chapter in her life but she still has “ongoing relationships” with both of them. “The reality is I know these people in real life. And so, in real life, I’ve communicated to these people why I’ve had to publicly make the decisions that I made,” she said.
