Patrick Mahomes’ birthday week got off to a sweet start on Saturday.
Two days after his Chiefs defeated the Chargers in a thrilling AFC West showdown, Kansas City’s superstar quarterback celebrated his 27th birthday with an intimate gathering that featured some of his nearest and dearest, including wife Brittany Matthews.
“Happy Birthday babessss,” Matthews gushed Saturday on Instagram.In one photo, Matthews — who recently turned 27 herself – is seen posing beside Mahomes and a collection of balloons as a “Let’s party” sign is illuminated in the background. The couple later stood in front of a different backdrop that read, “XXVII Mahomes.”
Matthews, who is expecting her second child with Mahomes, a baby boy, also shared a few snaps from the party on her Instagram Stories, notably one pic of the birthday boy standing beside a “1995” sign.
“What a great year this was,” Matthews remarked of Mahomes’ birth year.
