Spiranac, who is now one of the best-known figures in golf herself, hosted her weekly Q&A on her Instagram page, which is heading towards almost four million followers. One question was: Who do you fan girl over?
She started by explaining she doesn’t always speak about the famous faces she has mingled with for fear of the innuendo it will attract. But she decided to spill the beans about her meeting with Woods, which came at a charity event“I have a lot of pretty cool stories that I would want to share but unfortunately when I do, when I meet someone, the comments are [puts on a deep voice], ‘oh, he nailed her after and I bet they… you know’,” she said.
“And it’s like ‘no’, I can have a normal interaction with someone. It’s disrespectful for me and to that person, and if they have a wife or significant other. So don’t [do that], it ruins it.So bearing that in mind, I did fan girl over Tiger Woods. He’s the only person I got so incredibly nervous [over] while having a lesson at his charity event, Tiger Jam [which raises money for Woods’ education-based charity].
