THE QUEEN has been advised to “abscond” and take a “72-hour all-inclusive gals weekend to Malaga” by a royal expert. The 96-year-old monarch is expected to travel from Scotland to meet the new Prime Minister once they have been appointed. But speaking about Her Majesty’s duties, royal expert Daniela Elser said: “The poor woman must be so tired.
“Not only is she still working, more than three decades after most people retire, but her family is a source of never-ending scandal and strain with things only looking like they are going to ramp up more.
“If you ask me, and no one is, what Her Majesty needs right now is not another wet week wobbling over the moors and ruminating on how it all went wrong but needs to rally her lady-in-waiting of more than 60 years Lady Susan Hussey and abscond for a 72-hour all-inclusive gals weekend to Malaga”.The Queen is said to be holidaying in the Scottish Highlands as she does most summers, which is one of her most frequented holiday destinations.
Members of the Royal Family are believed to have joined her at the estate over the summer months.Outgoing Prime Minister Boris Johnson is also expected to spend a couple of nights at the Queen’s Scottish residence, as is tradition before his successor is handed the keys to Number 10.Other than Christmas at Sandringham, the Queen’s Balmoral holiday is said to be the only time Her Majesty has a break in the working year.
