patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are attending the Super Bowl for the fourth time in five years and are completely focused on facing the San Francisco 49ers, however, the star quarterback has been invited to this year’s Pro Bowl..Going to the Super Bowl means that Mahomes will not attend the Pro Bowl in player capacity, while Tua Tagovailoa will be the starting QB.

 

Mahomes is not the only one who was added to the starting roster of the AFC’s team, Center Creed Humphrey, Defensive Lineman Chris Jones, Tight End Travis Kelce and Offensive Guard Joe Thuney are also not playing in the 2024 Pro Bowl.

 

Humphrey has his second-straight Pro Bowl nod after his 726 pass-blocking snaps lead all centers and his talents have been showing as he has been the league’s best pass-blocking center this year.Jones has been invited to the Pro Bowl for the fifth time in a row after ranking second among all interior linemen in pressures.

 

Kelce is a league favorite as he’s been invited nine times in a row after 327,263 fans voted for him as the fifth among all players, the tight end has 93 receptions for 984 yards and five touchdowns during the the year.

 

The man responsible for getting Kelce the ball, quarterback Patrick Mahomes, also earned another Pro Bowl nod, continuing his streak of garnering Pro Bowl recognition in each of his first six seasons as the Chiefs’ primary starter. Mahomes, who isn’t scheduled to start this upcoming Sunday due to Kansas City’s postseason position being locked into place, has a league-most 401 completions for 4,183 yards and 27 touchdowns on the season.
