No matter who you are, meeting the parents is always a nerve-wracking experience. But for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, the relationship milestone has seemingly gone off without a hitch.
Weeks after the pop star left a stellar first impression on both Kelce’s mom, Donna, and dad, Ed, it was time for the Chiefs player to win over her parents. And he did just that on Friday, following a dinner he had with Swift and her father, Scott, after touching down in Argentina. The trio enjoyed their meal in a private room at Elena, a restaurant at the Four Seasons Hotel in Buenos Aires, and things reportedly went well, with a source at People revealing that Taylor and Travis “left holding hands” and that the NFL star “was beaming.
The insider added that “the crowd in the restaurant briefly cheered as they walked out,” and that the two “looked so cute on their low-key date night.”

Earlier this week, Travis — whose team is currently on their bye week, a seven-day period of no games during the NFL season — hinted that he would be traveling to South America to support Taylor during the first leg of her international Eras Tour. “I might just say fuck it and just go somewhere nice, I don’t know,” he said of how he might spend his time off on the latest of episode of his podcast New Heights. “My skin’s getting real pale so I gotta go somewhere sunny.” He added, “Some place south, closer to the equator.”
And although, Travis missed the Swift’s initial show (he was at teammate Patrick Mahomes’s third annual Mahomies Foundation Gala in Kansas City on Thursday), he appeared to catch the first flight out and was spotted exiting a jet at an airport near Buenos Aires by the next afternoon.
