Iga Swiatek has made sure her name is heard all over the Tennis World in only a couple of years she has been on the Open Era courts. The 22-year-old Polish made a breakthrough performance at Roland Garros where she emerged victoriously and became the youngest woman to hold a Grand Slam trophy in the 21st Century. She has continued to improve her game, getting stronger with every passing tournament.
After a historic 2020 season, Swiatek was constantly rising up the ranks in 2021 and after Ash Barty’s retirement in 2022, Swiatek, courtesy back-to-back WTA 1000 titles inherited the World No.1 spot from her.
